Due to its pluralistic vision, the program encourages visits to the Palestinian Authority and other countries in the Middle East to complement the experience of this seminar.
The Institute is not authorized to organize excursions into territory under the control of the Palestinian Authority or to other countries; thus the service is provided independently of our seminar and we are not liable for it.
Half day excursion to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus, in the Palestinian Authority. Analysis of the situation on the Palestinian side. Visit to the Nativity Church and tour of the city.
This trip takes place during one of the leisure days of the seminar and is subject to a minimum number of participants and security conditions. Registration for this trip will take place in Jerusalem at the beginning of the seminar. The cost will depend on the number of participants.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Ground transportation from Jerusalem to Cairo (Approx. 10 hours).
Day 2: Full day tour to Memphis, Sakkara, the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple and the Sphinx . Tour at a papyrus gallery.
Day 3: Full day in the Old City, visiting the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Salah el Din, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and El Moallakah ( Hanging ) Church. Continue via the City of the Dead to Khan el Khalili Bazaar.
Day 4: Ground transportation from Cairo to Jerusalem (Approx. 10 hours). , Arrival around 9:00 pm

Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart for Sheik Hussein Bridge. After border procedures, continue to Jerash for a visit to the preserved ruins of this great Roman City (approx. 2 hours); then proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Visit to Petra - “The Red Rose City", which was nominated in 2007 as one of the seven Wonders of the World, see the Pink Stone Treasury, the Roman Theatre and more. Return to Israel through the Sheik Hussein Bridge crossing. Arrival to Jerusalem approximately at 9:00 pm.
Includes:
1 night with half board at 3 star hotel (lodging + breakfasts + dinner), entry fees, local English speaking licensed guides in Jerash and Petra and land transportation Jerusalem-Petra-Jerusalem.
