Each participant is responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Israel. In doing so, please consider the following:
It is important to reserve your tickets as early as possible in order to get the best rate possible. However, do not finalize or make any payment for tickets until your acceptance to the program is confirmed.
One and Two Week Programs
Please consider that the program will begin at 8:00 PM on the first day, and will be completed at 1:00 PM on the last day. Participants’ arrivals in Israel must be scheduled between 8:00AM and 4:00 PM on the first day of the program. Departures must be scheduled between 5:00 PM and midnight on the last day of the itinerary.
If due to flight availability or pricing you plan to arrive or depart at a different date or time, it is required that you first consult the Coexistencetrip staff (info@coexistencetrip.net). Please consider that you may be required to arrange your own transportation to/from the airport, as well as arranging accommodations for additional nights.*
Additional Trip Departures: Participants in additional trips (Egypt or Jordan) will have accommodations provided for the night after the program ends and the excursions will depart on the next morning.
Program with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem 2011
Participants in the Joint Program with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem must register (with the required documentation) on June 26 or 27 between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm. Only once participants have registered they may enter the dorms. We therefore recommend that flights be scheduled to land no later than noon on these days. Move out will take place on July 26 before 4 pm.
Those who are arriving after registration hours on the 26th must arrange accommodations for the night. If this is the case, please contact us.
Additional Trips Departures: The trip to Egypt will depart on July 26 and the trip to Jordan will take place during one of the weekends between June 26 and July 26.
Additional trips to Egypt and Jordan
The additional trips will finish the last day of the itinerary at approximately 9:00 PM. It is important to leave a reasonable amount of time between that then and the departure of your flight (in case of possible delays and considering that you should be at the airport three hours before your departure). Take into account that that night is not included. If you wish you may request an additional night.* If you are traveling to Egypt, it may be more convenient for you to go back to your country from Cairo the night before the end of the program. The last day consists of a several hour return trip by land to Israel.
For one and two week programs, Coexistencetrip will be in charge of the transportation from and to Ben Gurion airport as long as:
- This transportation will take place the first and last days of the program.
- We have received the flight details requested in the registration process on time.

Concerning one and two week programs:
Due to the intensity of the program and the lack of free time, many participants decide to stay several days more in Israel following the end of the program.
If for this or any other reason you decide to extend your stay, you must make a request this when you send the details of your flight, at least a month before the beginning of the seminar. This option is subject to availability and will cost an additional price of US$50 per night without meals.
