“Coexistence in the Middle East” is an initiative that seeks to promote coexistence by providing future leaders with a unique opportunity to interact and gain first-hand contact with different national, religious, and ideological groups that converge in Israel, a crossroads for humanity.
To date, undergraduate and graduate students from renowned universities in more than 20 countries across the five continents, along with diplomats and professionals in various fields, have participated in our program. These programs are organized in collaboration with Israel Beyond the Headlines, The International Institute of Leadership and The Rothberg International School ofThe Hebrew University of Jerusalem in collaboration with The Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel.
Israel Beyond the Headlines (IBH)
Israel Beyond the Headlines is an initiaitve that seeks to prepare, empower, and inspire students and professionals from around the world through two special hands-on programs in Israel: Coexistence in the Middle East and InnovNation. IBH programs offer participants access to the people, organizations and facts behind some of the issues and breakthroughs making headlines around the globe in their professional fields and careers.

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is rated among the World's top 100 universities, with six of its faculty members and alumni having been awarded the Nobel Prize in the last five years. Founded in 1925 by personalities such as Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud, the University is an example of successful coexistence, where faculty members and students of various religions, races, and ethnic groups collaborate and contribute to the enhancement of human knowledge.
The Rothberg International School (RIS) of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is responsible for international students at the University.

The International Institute of Leadership is a non-profit independent academic center. It was founded in 1958 by the Histadrut, The General Federation of Labor in Israel, with a vision of improving socio-economic conditions in developing countries and promoting co-existence among nations on the basis of tolerance, pluralism, and human rights.
The International Institute has more than 50,000 Alumni in over 140 countries, many of whom have achieved key leadership positions in their native countries and contributed to improving relations with Israel.
